Wanted Posters (Photoshop)

I had been asked to put together 3 wanted posters for my partners friends and family night at work,

I started with a wanted poster, i then had to remove the image that was already on there so i did this by using the clone tool, once that was done i could then start putting the images that i needed on there.  I put a mask layer onto each image and used the brushes tool (0% hardness) to blend the edges with the poster itself.  I put a black and white colour and applied it to the image.  With the theme being wild west, i added some additional features (the hat and cigar, mustache and saloon girls feather).

The posters were taken into my partners place of work and the manager (who is in one of the posters) loved them, i there will be 5 of each design placed all around the store on the friends and family evening.

My First Film Poster Attempts

You can see the two film posters i have done so far, the one of the left is my first draft, i have chosen to have a full shot of Jason Statham as he is the main character and then an action shot of the same actor.  For the title i used the $ symbol to represent the presence of money (the reason for the heist).

In the second poster i decided to put a picture of some prison bars with some hands poking out.  This shows that at some point during the film someone will be going to prison, and i have included a large picture of Sean Connery.  I have done this as Sean is one of the main actors, and his body language here shows some kind of deep thought, could it be relevant to someone going into prison ? I have made the credits font smaller as well as the autumn 2010 release.  Due to the colour background where Sean Connery's face head is i've moved the film review over a bit.
